Cape/Mask Sizing

My most asked question is about cape sizing.  I know that a lot of people give these as gifts, and so that is a good question, especially if you aren't around kids much.  So I thought that I would address that a bit today.
I have FOUR sizes of capes that I can do.

  • Newborn
  • One Year
  • Standard
  • Large
My capes are sized to grow with your kids, and should be slightly big to start so that they can get the most use out of them.  Obviously if you buy a newborn cape, for halloween or pictures, this cape will not fit for very long or get much use!  (if you have a newborn and are local, I would love to get some photos of a newborn in one of my capes....contact me:)
My one year cape will get a couple years out of it though.  Here it is pictured on a 12 month old and it nearly touched the ground.  Newborn and One Year Old Capes are ONE SIDED and require less fabric and therefore are discounted.  Embroidery is still extra.
My STANDARD cape (here and here) will fit for a long time!  A good 6 years I'd say.  On the two year old it touches the ground, knee length around 5 and mid thigh around 8.
My LARGE cape also has 6 or more years of life in it! Because of the extra fabric for length, there is a $2 upcharge on the bigger capes.
My MASKS are a one size fits all.  Fit about a 19" head which is most kids.  If you have a head  measurement and want a custom fit, I am more than happy to work with you on that.
Super Hero CUFFS, new in the shop, are also one size fits all, but are adjustable.  At their biggest, I can wear them myself:).  The green is my 5 year old wearing them, but they can adjust a little smaller and would easily work for 2-3 year olds as well!

So there you have it.  All your "SUPER" sizing questions answered!

Lunch....YOUR Way

There is nothing I like better than getting things EXACTLY the way I want and need them to be.

I think you, as my customers, are no different.  You all eat lunch, but you don't all take your lunch in the same way each day.
Lunch totes available here.
Lunch Sacks available here.
I wanted you to be able to order the pieces of my lunch items as individual pieces and as certain sets to best suit your needs.
There are THREE sizes of reusable bags (medium is new).
Ribbon tabs make opening and closing easier, especially for little hands.  Gusset helps the bag sit up nicely for filling and eating.
Say you like to take a salad to work/school or reheat leftovers, but you need some snack bags for your side items.  Bags can be ordered as a set of three or individually.
Individual Large Bags available here.
Individual Medium Bags available here.

Individual Small Bags available here.
Are you the type that just takes a sandwich and then grabs an apple?  Then all you need is a Sandwich Wrap!
Individual Sandwich Wraps available here
Sandwich wraps are good for carrying cheese and crackers, sliced pizza or a pile of fruit or veggies!
BASIC lunch kit
I have three sets of lunch kits now.  My BASIC kit includes:  a Sandwich Wrap, Large and Medium Snack Bag.  Perfect for a smaller lunch or for your Preschool/Kindergartners!    Also great for picnic lunches with the family.
SUPER lunch kit
My SUPER set includes: a Sandwich Wrap, all three snack bags and a napkin.  I use the extra bag for my kids morning or afternoon snacks at school.
Napkin is about 8x8.  You can upgrade to an adult napkin that is 16x16.
The only part of my kids lunches that used to be throw away, was the napkin.  With 5 kids, the cost of napkins was adding up!  So the napkin was born!  Perfect completion to the lunch kit!
COMPLETE lunch kit
The COMPLETE set includes everything and a lunch tote or lunch sack.
COMPLETE lunch kit
Of course you need a lunch tote or sack to carry your lunch in!
The lunch tote is perfect if you plan to carry Tupperware in you lunch.  I have two girls who don't eat sandwiches, but prefer a "lunchable" type meal.  I found these wonderful divided containers by ziplock:
My only problem was that they didn't fit into any of our lunch bags.  Good News.....they fit nicely in my new lunch totes!  I just toss in an ice pack and their juice on top and they are all set!
My lunch totes are insulated to help keep everything cool and to help give it structure.  Top zips closed.  Inside can be easily wiped out daily or entire bag can be tossed in the laundry.
Lunch totes can be done to match ANY lunch kit, boy or girl fabric.  But if your guy needs something a little bit "cooler", then a lunch sack is perfect.  Think brown bag, but out of fabric!  Bag can close in several different ways, depending on how full the bag is.
Lunch sack are NOT insulated.

There you have it....lunch...YOUR way!
